Everything parents need to know for a smooth week at VBS.

Registration

VBS registration is in person only. Please visit the Cafe on Monday morning, July 13, for registration details and assistance.

What To Expect On Day 1

Check-in will begin at 8:15am. Please visit the Cafe if you need registration assistance. Volunteers and staff members will help direct families to the correct check-in area.

If you have any questions, we will have plenty of volunteers and staff members available to assist you.

Check-In Areas

Preschool – 4 Years

If your child is on MOONS or ROCKETS, you will drop off in the WC/Kids Preschool Area.

Main Auditorium – 5 Years – 5th Grade

If your child is on ASTEROIDS, ASTRONAUTS, CADETS, COMETS, GALAXIES, NAVIGATORS, PLANETS, ROVERS, SATELLITES, or SUPERNOVAS, you will drop off in the Main Auditorium.

Embrace – Special Needs

If your child is on STARS, you will drop off in the Embrace Area.

Every Child Will Receive At Check-In

  • A wristband with their team name on it.
  • A check-out card with the group name and security tag number for pick-up.
Please take a picture of the check-out card and keep the wristband on your child the entire week.

What To Bring: Preschool

Moons and Rockets

  • VBS T-shirt (Please have your child wear this every day. Your child will receive their T-shirt on Day 1)
  • Everything is provided for Preschool VBS, including snacks and water.
  • Water day is ONLY ON THURSDAY for our 4 year olds. Please have your child wear their swimsuit to VBS that day and pack a change of clothes. Towels will be provided.

What To Bring: Incoming Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Astronauts, Asteroids, Cadets, Comets, Galaxies, Navigators, Planets, Rovers, Satellites, and Supernovas

  • VBS T-shirt (Please have your child wear this every day. Your child will receive their T-shirt on Day 1)
  • Small backpack or drawstring bag with a change of clothes, towel, and water bottle.
  • Water bottle (We will have several water stations around the plaza to help keep your child hydrated)
  • Swimsuit and towel (Please have your child come wearing their swimsuit every day of VBS for water inflatables, with clothes over if necessary)
  • Change of clothes is optional. If you want your child to change after water inflatables, please inform your child’s group leader at check-in.
  • Sunscreen (Please apply before dropping off. Your child will be outside for no longer than 30 minutes for water inflatables)
  • Snacks and popsicles will be provided every day. If your child has special dietary or allergy restrictions, please inform your child’s team leader at check-in.
