Schools Project Mentor Training

Mentoring positively impacts school dropout rates, has positive impacts on mental health, can aid with peer relationships, supports academic growth, increases attendance, and provides confidence to students in life.

In this upcoming school year, Woodlands Church is aiming to provide 60 mentors for students in Conroe ISD. We'll be partnering with Project Mentor, a school-based mentorship program in Conroe that has existed since 2008. Currently, 215 mentors meet with students on a weekly basis, listening to the students and sharing lunch with them.
